2009 Galway-Cavendish Forest Rally
Peterborough Motor Sports Club is proud to present the 8th Annual Galway-Cavendish Forest Rally (GCFR).
This event has become a ‘must do it’ event for many Ralliests. GCFR has one of the smoothest gravel stages in Canada. We also have a safe and convenient spectator viewing area with adjacent parking. Over the past eight years GCFR has been at the forefront in introducing changes to events. We introduced Classic Class for cars. We also introduced a 2WD class in 2008. One year GCFR had a TSD class which while popular, was difficult to include in the event. So this year we will try and introduce another change. What will it be? At this point in time we do not know. However, we will try for something.
In 2008 we introduced a chance to win a free entry to the event and we will have that offer again this year.
So mark August 8th on your calendar and join us for the 8th Annual GCFR.

1) FREE entry to GCFR
Submit your entry prior to July 22nd and you will have your name go into a draw for TWO chances to win a free entry. Submit your entry after July 22 and before the seed draw on July 29th and you get only one chance to win. This offer is courtesy of Peterborough Subaru
2) 2WD Class
Patterned after the Max Attack in the USA, GCFR is please to announce a 2WD class. Based on overall finishing position all 2WD entrants will be scored with the highest three receiving CASH awards:
First place $250
Second place $150
Third place $100
Class and awards are based on six starters in 2WD. Number of awards will decrease with less entrants.
